  • If I were asked to do this, I’d do what Adam suggested. I did something similar in Element 3d (video copilot). I made a material with fractal noise/turbulent noise and then animated it and applied it to my 3d model. I’m sure you could do the same in C4d rather easily.

You could easily sculpt the landscape using the sculpting tools in cinema. Or you could boole out a chunk so your house has a flat section.

I’d just use a cub. Make it editable. Bevel the one edge to give you that nice round edge. Then it’s a case of moving things around till they are right.

I’m pretty sure they are just manually placing a new clip above the over one on and off every other frame so it syncs with the beat.

Unfortunately, I think you’re out of luck. It’s not possible to achieve this look without a time-splice rig (a bunch of cameras). If it’s for a paid gig, hire a rig out and use it for the stuff you need.

Oh, that’s a great idea, I was definitely over thinking it! Thanks so much.

Well, I’m not sure what you mean by “smoothly?” Sounds like everything is running smoothly, just taking time. Depending on your setup, this is part of the game. If you’ve rendered out a video from AE and then brought it into Premiere, obviously it’ll load a lot quicker as it no longer needs to calculate effects of any kinds, its just playing the video.

Use MOV or MP4 and H246 and you should decrease render time and file size.

2-4 hours isn’t that long for a 6 minute video, depending on what you have going on. I sometimes have double that for a 1 minute video.

I had a similar problem a while ago. I was using CS6, had issues, it would not open my file, so decided to try my project on another machine using CC and it worked fine. Not sure if you want to upload the project, possibly someone else will be able to open it, resave it and send it back to you. Slim chance, but worth a shot.

Agree with the 980ti card! Also, i would definitely get SSD drives instead of the Sata drives, you’ll notice a HUGE difference running your OS on SSD and also cache files, etc.
