Seems like Humble Bundle is legit .. Once Magix activates, that should be it for that install. New installs will need to be activated again. That should be ok too but I don’t see how anyone can guarantee the future 100%. My opinion is you have little to worry about at the price you’d be paying.

December 16, 2017 at 5:39 am in reply to: Making an event exempt from effect applied to whole track?I’ve always thought that doing the overlap on the same track is smoother than doing a fade up and fade down on two separate tracks. I think the ability to do an overlap on the same track is one of the nicest features Vegas has always had.

How long the overlap should be might take some experimentation.

But it would be easy to move the events you want exempted to another track.

I don’t have any 4K displays so I can’t try it but I can’t see any reason this would not work in Vegas. Set project properties to 4K, render to 4K template. That should do it … right?

Sounds like you are new to Vegas. I suggest you do the “Interactive Tutorials” for the basics. THere may be some kind of a problem if you cannot “drag” media onto the timeline (that’s the area where you have the question mark), but let’s set that issue aside. Doing the tutorials will help get you started if you are new — you didn’t say ..
In the upper left of the screen find the HELP tab. Do “Help/Interactive Tutorials” ..

You need to add your media. Various ways to do that.
Use Explorer tab — or just drag and drop media on to the TimelineI don’t know what you mean by “Video tab” …

This looks like there is a “soloed” track somewhere down below or above the tracks you show on your screen shot.

PluralEyes will run under Vegas Pro 15. If you own a copy of PluralEyes 4.1 there is a simple fix that Red Giant is sending to folks. But, obviously Red Giant does not wish to sell PE4 for use with Vegas Pro 15. Must be a reason.
From Red Giant PluralEyes Support:
While PluralEyes 4 is not technically compatible with Vegas Pro 15, there is a workaround that many of users have employed that have allowed them to use PluralEyes in their Vegas workflow.
Close Vegas 15
Unzip the attached folder with the Vegas 14 extension
Place the folder under C:\ProgramData\VEGAS Pro\15.0
Relaunch Vegas 15 -

If that’s ok with you, then I’d select the “outtakes” instead and delete them leaving you with the “slices” you want to keep.
