Hi Jeff,
Thanks for the response. When I removed the linked sequence my chapter points also disappeared (and thus the button links that I had completed).It appears I cannot replace a linked asset. Not a big deal, but I could see where it would be nice to be able to do so. Now I know to avoid it.

I encountered something like that this week. Apparently the source document I was using was a GIF. Adding text to the GIF was very blocky, with none of the smoothing/anti-aliasing. Saving as a PSD and reopening solved that problem.

Thanks Vince for the tip.
That did not provide a solution, but it did cause some other behaviour. I think you are on the right track. I cleaned the folder and I started seeing the audio waveforms appear for the linked in clips as the info bar was telling me it was conforming them. The only problem is that they all pulled a ~3 second audio sample from one of them and repeated it endlessly.
Something is not linking correctly. I rendered them all last night, so I expect them to work now as true avi’s instead of the links.
Maybe it will work next time.

Depends on which one you want to remove.
Consider covering the person that is no longer part of your clown posse with a ‘sign’ (ex – Clown Party 2008), or a plant.
Or, if you do not care about the size of the pic, pull the other two clowns up and crop the bottom.

To me, the whole pic looks inverted, so you may want to invert the picture first. Select one of the eyelashes with whatever method you prefer. In the Edit bar choose Define Brush Preset. It should now show up in your brush list (make sure you switch to paintbrush) and is most likely on the bottom of the list. If you have a tablet, you may want to have it orient according to the tilt of your pen. Note: I have CS1, but I doubt much has changed in this area – if so, this may give you the proper pointers.

You guessed it; the best results are achieved with a fast camera. Otherwise, better results (as opposed to just changing the speed in Premiere) can be achieved with the plug-in Twixtor.
