Marshall is a industry respected company. I had 2 of thier old 6″ monitors for my cameras and LOVED them. they also have a 17″ and a I think 23″ monitors as well. Any Rental house should have them

Hey Francisco,
No the iMac is not a Color Correction monitor solution. HOWEVER I find that it’s a great tool to getting close. That being said – you can calibrate your iMac display – A LOT of people dont like Apple’s default. If you can find a way to search this site for threads I started (I honestly dont know how) then you will see a thread where I talked about calibration of a LCD TV, and monitor, and people posted some really good tips and also a Color profile there as well. Let me know whatcha find out

Hey Paul,
Well I do the same thing. I just picked up my copy of Snow Leopard and ready to wipe and install it on my MBP –
Since I have a MBP I dont get the option of having multiple drives (unless I do that SWEET mod where you take out the DVDRom and put in another internal hdd, but since I need that dvdrom (even though it sucks) I have been using an Dual dock with TEN 1Tb drives for all my storage. I heard it was bad to Edit on the same drive as the OS is located.
No to answer your question (lol) I install stp loops, and dvdsp templates etc. on the internal cause I do a clean install on my MBP internal hdd every quarter or 6 months.
If someone has a better answer I would be interested to know if this is the right way to do it 🙂

Walter perhaps you misunderstood what I was saying. If you have seen the Flashkit website, its about helping, not people doing work for you. Im trying to learn, and that site promotes files, so you can dig in an modify – Being Particles did not see like a hard thing and I know how to make particle from a circle, but the birthrate was not right or the origination was from a center, and the other video was sort of dollying into the particles making them look 3D – It seemed like something I would be able to get help in here.
I appreciate Stephens response, and am looking for more in depth help – I was looking for a tutorial but did not come up with any luck, which is why I turned to this site, since it was helpful in the past.
Sorry I did not mean to ruffle any feathers.

DVCPRO100 – is what I have been using for the past 5.5 years. on FCS 1 and now on FCS 3 – Im just going to File>Export>QuickTime – never had the issue before when sending someone a master to a computer which did not have a FCP on it, till now.
Of course, maybe I did not notice it, because maybe I exported through compressor. LOL no idea now
