Aug25th Layer – If you look above it on :Layer 2: you’ll see a small clip, I want that to go after the Aug25th clip just after it. but won’t let me, I drag all the contents to the right of the Aug25th on V1 and it won’t move.

    System Im running is

    OS 9.7 Classic –

    Just kidding.
    Mohave – 10.14
But it’s been laggy for some time.

So I ran a BlackMagic Speed test and it appears my OWC TBT4 is running at 260MB Read and 350 Write Speeds… What could be slowing it down to half what I should be getting?

1080p work is in CS6 – but be able to handle 4K editing when the Thunder Bay 4 Raid 5 is plugged into a lot faster of a machine 🙂

But yes the Seagate and HGST are 7200 rpm. But the Seagate is NAS Enterprise and 128mb cache over the HGST 64mb Cache and doesnt say Enterprise.. so I dont know if NAS is synonyms with NAS or what not so ya.

    Thanks for replying –

The render time is ridiculous! 2 cameras 50mins each… 24 hours of rendering?

Just basic. Cross Dissolve. nothing fancy. When I remove the cross dissolve, the image still stays the brightness… just a weird issue…

Update: I created a new sequence. AppleProRess422HQ and copy and pasted… rendered… took a lot longer, 1.5 hours for 5 mins… LOL but no issues.
