    Hello to everyone

I would like to know if the Imac screen is trustable to correct colors at the end of the diting. I mean if is going to be close to reality. Should I make some changes in the bright control etc.?

Thanks very much for your help

    Hey Francisco,

No the iMac is not a Color Correction monitor solution. HOWEVER I find that it’s a great tool to getting close. That being said – you can calibrate your iMac display – A LOT of people dont like Apple’s default. If you can find a way to search this site for threads I started (I honestly dont know how) then you will see a thread where I talked about calibration of a LCD TV, and monitor, and people posted some really good tips and also a Color profile there as well. Let me know whatcha find out

Thanks for your help. I will look for this tips. It is possible then to rent a calibrated monitor and plug to the imac?

What king of monitor would I need? I know the analogues ones that are used with pro video cameras. But I have seen TFT style digital monitors, which type is better?

thanks very much for your help
