Thanks – I will check that way again.

I made the mistake of “organizing ” some slides, but in the finder in the Project library ..
and then now there are many errors, even after I put the files back into the top level of

And I read that sometime it means a project has not finished rendering ….

I really wish I could right click and show the error reason..

and while we are at it, it is none of these:

My guess is that it went into the Trash ….

check there and move it out.

Otherwise it is very lost and the App called Data Rescue MAY be able to recover it.

Also – was this on an external drive or the internal drive?

If it was the internal drive – when you download and install Data Rescue, you will over right
some of your FCP X library that you want to recover.

I am ready to mess with vertical format pictures.

    Great!
Thanks – I bought this now and am about to use it for this project.

It is not exactly what I imagined, and it is close enuf that it will save me some time.

The effect I would like to still find is the one that takes the last few pixels of the right
and left edge and explodes it out.

and the “Reveal in Browser” is ghosted out.

I don’t want to just call it up or crop them, as they are 4:3 slides and all have information on
    them.

I have seen the effect on tv news when they show someone’s phone footage,
    and in music videos.

I want to fill in the right and the left of each slide with something easy.

    Thanks.

So then is it on the list for Apple to add to the App?

That would be a simple copy and paste operation.

Select the clips that you are wanting to bring into the timeline on the other timeline.
    Switch to the target timeline.
Put cursor where you want the clips to start.

now all that you had selected gets pasted to the target timeline.
