When I produced a commercial for a ComCast station,
they provided me with a pdf of specs and upload requirements.

  • I have the same question.

As far as I have seen, I have to hand pan the 2 mono audio channels from my HVX-200,
and hand pan the 2nd set of audio channels also.

One thing I have read and learned is NOT to use a pure white for text,
    as there could be “issues.”
So, you could go to the color picker and tone down the white to something else.

Yellow was suggested. Another suggestion is picking a color that fits the
    theme of the video.

And yes, play around with adding an outline to the font.

Also, look thru the Font selection, and maybe pick a new font.

Does it have anything to do with the “Drop Shadow”?

I love answering my own questions:

    gives the basics.

Anyone else have something to add from their experience?

I thought that some people had an issue with the TimeCode display,
as the system fonts had changed.

    I have not noticed this.

Nope – I don’t see any media that is off line in those clips.

It could also be that the rendering is not complete.

I really wish I could just right click and see where the error are.

  • A very simple and quick “backup” is:
    to :right click”
    “Save as snapshot”

    I do this a lot.
