Sorry to bring this back to the original topic, just thought I’d mention that the BS filter is set by default to NTSC. When switched to PAL the correction changes. Just something to be aware of.

Not a skimmer issue, at least not here (as we seem to have different bugs sometimes depending on setups)
In fact hitting C (for select clip) only works when the playhead is moving, through j-k-l or spacebar commands. As soon as you hit k or the space bar you can not select the clip…

Hi,
just tried the same thing, although I started with opening a duplicate of the custom template in Motion 5. I’ve had no problems with changing/vanishing choices of fonts.

thanks, I will try this as soon as I get back in front of the computer, but for today my brain is fried.

I did edit with a touchscreen Ampex ACE and it worked. I preferred the keyboard version or a 9100 editor altogether but it worked, and really well when hooking VPR 3s and Ampex switcher to it. The integration was only second to the Sony range.
As for Quantel’s interface it is very fast for quick assembly editing (like news), but a bit of a pain when it comes to trimming, splitting edits and so on, at least on the Editbox it was.

more reliable than Google or Youtube tutorials, try the perfectly fine, indexed and searchable pdf that is the User Manual. Sometimes a little effort goes a long way…
