PMW350 looks sweet, a perfect complement to our EX-3 and EX-1.

We just did some GS work yesterday and brought one of our MACPRO towers with KONA LHe on set. We used the HDSDI tap from the EX-3 camera and bypassed the SxS cards. There seems to be a definite improvement in the keys. We also rolled to the SxS card and plan on doing an A/B after we get through the project. Will report back.

Michael, the fact that this is shot on an EX-3 is a real testament to your skills (and your kit). Details on technical and production methodology please?

Very likely a “mid market” XDCAM kinda like the Panny HPX500 series.

PPRO (CS4 4.1) on MAC seems to have big troubles importing P2 files. We are getting a frame size error and there is no workaround we can figure out. had to take the job over to a PC AXIO system to get it done….

    Anyone??

    Man, there’s always something!

Why would AJA post drivers and utilities for CS4 when they can’t work based on the status of the Adobe software?? That’s a bit frustrating.I really hope “any day” means tomorrow ’cause I have 100 greenscreen scenes I want to bring over from AXIO machines (CS3) and key in CS4 on my new LHi powered MACS……

It’s a definite no-go at this point in time. Tried on 4 systems.

Thanks Jeremy. Downloaded and installed the two updates plus a firmware update and no joy. I can now see the AJA options but PPRO crashes and shuts down anytime I try to address the AJA LHi card – new project setup, capture, batch capture dialogues.

    Any ideas??

Hopefully we’ll see a card next product cycle that gives us the 2-4K processing throughput and the analog I/O of an LHi.
