Yiu need to install the little round Lithium Ion battery in the bottom of the camera body. This is covered in the manual.

Thanks Dan, what suggestions would you have for audio I/O if we were to use an iMAC for our audio workstation? We only need 2 MIC inputs and 2 outputs. Ideally we’d like to be able to use the same hardware I/O for ProTools, FCP and Adobe CC. Thoughts?

I am going to be shooting some video of wildlife and can spend up to $1500 for a telephoto zoom lens. We have Canon 17-55 2.8 already and it is pretty decent.

Yes, it is possible as long as you use the right vendor. Do not attempt this with a cheapo solution. Or with disparate components thrown together. E-mail me at patm@inmotion.ca for more information from an end user perspective. I am not a vendor.
