need FCS3 seats
Posted by Pat Mcgowan on June 27, 2011 at 5:50 pmAre FCS3 licences transferable? If so I am looking for as many as 10 seats. Legit SERIALS and fully upgradable.

June 27, 2011 at 5:52 pmUpgradable FCS3? Sorry, there will be no upgrades for that. FCP 7 is the last in the line. Things start over new with FCP X…and there is no upgrade path to that.

June 27, 2011 at 11:38 pmRumor has it that FCS 3 is going to go for extraordinary prices. The higher the demand, the higher the price.
Here’s an example:
https://www.amazon.com/Final-Cut-Studio-Upgrade-VERSION/dp/B002J0EOI8/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1309217758&sr=8-2Apple even removed it from their store.
You can have mine for $2500!

June 28, 2011 at 12:10 amYou can find em on eBay. Look for FULL RETAIL, brand new, and still wrapped. They were going for around $500 the other day but today I saw one listed for $1,500!!! I picked one up for $375 and it’s all good. I bought it the day FCP X came out. Still on FCS 2 (FCP 6) because I was going to wait to upgrade. Well, you know how that’s going at this point.
Anyway, you might try that. Hey, at least you can now get the last pro apps updater.

June 28, 2011 at 9:24 amHey there Pat,
howya? I am curious as to why you want to stay with FCP, is it a case of large investment, archive projects – in for a penny, in for a pound…
As a one person operation, it’s very easy for me to make a decision. FCP7 for old projects, all new ones Premiere Pro 5.5 and Im getting one of those Quadro 4000 cards to pep things up a bit! Now THAT is what I would call an upgrade 😉
good luck with it mate.
Mark.
