Yet another example of the void in real world knowledge/experience that seems to be a prerequisite to get a product management job in this digital media software production vertical.

I know, let’s give the professional customers less functionality in order to make sure we pander to the lowest level of customer operational ability.

Then, let’s offer Audition as a standalone product that will compete directly with ProTools………brilliant!!!

My understanding is that there will very little in terms of patches, a PPRO 2.5 release or a PPRO 3.0 release in Q1 or Q2 for 2007. One can only hope that Q3 and Q4 will be different.

Ditto on the mic commector. Anyone know where I can get an adapter so I can use a standard 3 pin mic input as a mono camera mic?

We are pricing our HDX900 with lens, tripod, batteries, charger and 8.4″ monitor at $1000/day Canadian. That’s about $850 in US bucks.
