Are you guys okay with this??
I can’t believe that everyone is okay with Soundbooth taking the place of Audition in the Video Production Suite. I kept thinking that I would see a lot of post about what a bad idea it is, but nothing. I find it hard to believe that video professionals cannot figure out Audition, so to fix the problem Adobe is going to develop a single track editor instead of Audition. Adobe says “Soundbooth will be able to complete 80% of the most common task that a video professional needs.” (Well, it was something like that.) So, for the other 20% of my needs I will need to go to another application. Lame. If Audition a and Soundbooth are so different, why don’t they include them both in the video collection. If really don’t think that people working with flash and people making a documentary have the same audio needs. Should Adobe redo After Effects since there are a lot of features video professionals don’t use or know how to use? I can buy software that will edit my video according to an audio track too, is it professional. Soundbooth seems like it is better suited for Premiere Elements and Photoshop Elements. What are your thoughts? Maybe I am just misunderstanding something. (This message is posted Adobe’s site as well)
