Yes it has. There has been big move away from. Propriety solutions.
VLC player supports it as do a number of others. But you are right it stands outside current main stream solutions.
But think a second about the wisdom of following a propriety code solution and long term support. Maybe like ProRes and QuickTime.

FFMPEG is a command line app that will convert to FFV1 in an MKV wrapper.

The common thinking is lossless compression of 2:1 and that’s either the J2K propriety route in something like MXF or open source FFV1 in MKV wrapper.
It’s pretty much accepted that ProRes makes no sense going forward and many are looking at migrating their ProRes archives to FFV1.Pat Horridge

Looks like some type of ringing. But impossible to tell what caused it now.
Sadly too many analogue to digital conversions are being done with little care.I’d go the mask route but it’s a shame as it will impact quality.

Its quite common practice to use the Tape.id field (never the tape number) to store the source clips folder name.
If you then do have to make one large bin of those clip you can sort by tape.id and easily pull them back out in groups.Alternatively you can pull up the source file path column heading and use that to sort and sift.

Yup background is the answer. Fire off each bin. Reverse selection to now highlight the. New clips and move to new bin. Use it all the time.

Have to say this is a bit of a worry. An Avid conform is a standard process and if you’ve been asked and don’t know that’s a worry.
Basically take the dnx36 media offline. Workout what sources are needed and AMA link those. Then relink the sequence to those sources.
Bring in the guide pic and aid and sync check. Then transcode to the required output resolution.Pat Horridge

And if no mdb database file was created try creating a title in Avid with media creation set to that drive. Then see where that media ended up. Possibly typo in file path.
