Hey guys, please help me! I’m new to AVID.

I got 2 types of materials from Alexa: MXF-files and .ari sequences of files.
Avid doesn’t ama-link this type of files, so I need to make proxy in Davinci Resolve.
    I make them this way:
I open DaVinci, select the Project Settings, Use TimeCode Embedded in Source Clip + Assist using reel names from the: Source clip filename. I then add to timeline, then Deliver to MXF OP-Atom, DNxHD 1080 36 8-bit, Filename: SourceName, Individual Clips. Put them into root Avid MediaFiles/MXF/1 folder.

And Avid Media Tool doesn’t see MXF files! So I can’t import them into project. What’s wrong?
    Thank you very much.

When you launched Avid after putting them there, did it look like it was creating a database…a progress bar pop up? If you look in that folder, do you see a .mdb file? Drag that into a bin and it should populate with those clips.

And if no mdb database file was created try creating a title in Avid with media creation set to that drive. Then see where that media ended up. Possibly typo in file path.
