It turns out that I apparently used Trim Mode unintentionally (through fat fingering…) and slipped the image so it was not occupying the full frame but had slipped down and to the left. The cropping scaled it correctly but it was down and to the left without me realizing it.

I hope this makes sense in case anyone else hits this apparent issue.

    Mike,

Thanks for the suggestions, and thanks for clarifying the “GSPOT” mention.

I ended up (before reading your suggestions) specifying a custom Pan/Zoom setting for the clips that exactly matched the dimensions of the imported MOV file. This seemed to work. But I’ll keep your suggestions on file for “next time.”

    Danny,

Thanks, but I cannot find GSTOP by Googling or searching this forum. Do you have a URL?

Thanks! I tried again, and the velocity envelope works. I appreciate your note that the still image may be better in some ways, however.

    Thanks.

February 14, 2008 at 12:38 am in reply to: Cropping multiple events the same

Thanks. This seems to work if the events are all video. I have a static bitmap I produced from one frame of an event using the Save Snapshot to File button over the preview window. When I paste the event attributes to this, I’m still left with a little more of the static image visible at the top than in the 2 video events around it.

So does anyone know if I can apply crop settings across an entire track and thereby also crop a static image the same as video events?

Can you say a few more words about “a keyframe problem”? What do you suggest I do to resolve it? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks. The snapshot feature is part of what I needed.

Another question: I thought Alt+Right Arrow or Alt+Left Arrow was supposed to move one frame at a time, but it does not appear to work that way. Is there some other setting I need to enable to make this work?
