I don’t think there is a problem with you system ! I also got that with beta 16 – I’m on a Amd R9 390X graphics card ! I think it is a graphics card driver problems – sometimes on start my Windows Pro 10 come up with that the graphics driver did’t not load correct – and then i get the pixel thumbs – after a restart it will be ok !

Why scene_720p.mp4 ? Your footage is 1920×1080, 23.976 fps ! And why do you use a 1280×720, 59.940 fps, Smart resample – timeline for 1920×1080, 23.976 fps footage ?

If you use the right button on your mouse to drag a clip – then you will not have a problem with the Opacity !

Sounds like a “bad” driver update problem with you rx580 ! The latest amd drivers has also given problems with rx580 and Davinci Resolve !
