Magix ProRes mov works fine in After Effects CC 2015!

Avid codec, you need to download and install Avid DNxHR codec and restart your computer before it works in Vegas Pro 14 !

I have the same problem with med Canon XF100 – in Premiere Pro no problem with the Media Browser import !
The Canon XF100 came with a program: Canon xf100 XFutility – that shows all clip and then I just highlights the clips I want and import or save in another map !

Maybe you can do the same with JVC ProHD Clip Manager ?

In Sony Vegas pro 13 – you can try XAVC – template: Sony XAVC/XAVC S (.mxf, mp4) XAVC Intra 1920×1080-59.95p

You can try Batch Render your clips to Cineform in Vegas !

I think you first have to make a Cineform template – save and re-open Vegas to see the new template in the Batch Render window !

Vegas and .mov is not the best combination because .mov use Apple 32bit decoder !

Yes, Cineform – If you install the free Gopro Studio – you can use Cineform in Vegas !

If you are on a Windows PC it is easy with Vegas Pro – I made a simple guide to show how to do !
Split is S – and Insert Region is R on the keyboard – and then just Batch Render !

You have to give more information – What camera does the footage come from – color space 0 – 235, 16 – 235 or ?
Render codec in Vegas ?
How does the Waveform i Vegas look like – maybe try with and S-curve in Sony Color Curves !
