All I can say – wait until the next update – things will get better.
As for playback, you need to monitor audio through the Decklink card. I use a Saffire Pro40 external sound card, so my routing is
Decklink -> XLR -> Saffire Pro40 -> Speakers.
I could’ve gone directly to the speakers from the Decklink, but I would’ve lost control over volume.

Haven’t heard anything about that – and I’m curious about how they’d do that properly.. Best bet is to use an external monitor.

I haven’t had any problems with audio except for not being able to extract audio in 7.0.2

Peter from BMD has said they’re working on it.
Except for that, you can make your own by looking at the menus in the top of your screen.

Scratchy and bumpy? Are you getting real-time playback? Is it stereo?

I had this issue before too – but looking at the coming update, it seems to be fixed.
