  • toggle grade on/off shortcut?

Posted by Adam Berk on October 19, 2010 at 4:41 pm

Is there a keyboard shortcut or wave shortcut to toggle the grading on and off? I can’t seem to find it and have been using the menu bar item to do so…..quite a pain. The only shortcut on the wave i can find toggles the current node only.

    Hi Adam,

The Mac keyboard up and down arrow keys will toggle all corrections on and off.

Is this working for anyone? The up/down keys don’t seem to be doing anything here.

Try Nodes – “Disable All”/”Enable All”.

The shortcut for that is “Up” and “Down” arrow.

Try clicking on the node graph area to get keyboard focus perhaps.

I’ve experienced I need to have the cursor over the nodes or viewer area for it to work. Occasionally it doesn’t matter where the cursor is.

However, you can add the shortcut to another key, which will be that key only to toggle between on/off. What you do is System Preferences -> Keyboard -> Keyboard Shortcuts -> Add DaVinci Resolve to the apps list -> Write the exact menu item (remember CAPITAL LETTERS and any signs like “/”) and press a key to make this one do the job for you. Works like a charm. 🙂

Great! Now I will need 1 dollar each time you press your new hotkey, in order to find something new to show you all. 🙂

    Ehehe.

Ok, and one dollar more if you tell me how to put grade in Memories (A-Z) with Keyboard or Tangent Wave and how to reload these memories.

    All the best

Simple. Just press ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ all at the same time, and then followed by 1, 2, 3 and so on to save to a memory. Then ZYXWVU (and so on)….. followed by the desired number to load.

    😉

I guess we all should ask for a smaller panel with only the track balls and rings to make a cheaper option for those of us who can’t stand the toy-ish feeling of the Wave..
