it’s 23.98. I’m in the middle of converting the hundreds of gigs I edited with from 24 to 23.98. I’ll take one ciip and (re)connect it to the new version, and assuming everything looks ok, reconnect all the others.

If a clip is 59.98 and i’m using it in a 24 fps sequence, it would behoove me to convert it the same way I am converting the 30 fps clips, correct?

What can someone do in Resolve that they can’t in Color or FCP 7? Just curious. What would make that a better final product?

it seems then the best option for me is to find someone who work in Color, right? Again, given the fact it’s color correction and not color grading, I imagine Color will do a perfectly fine job. thoughts?

It’s going to be exported as a movie file. I’m converting as we speak. That said, if I don’t notice anything when i have exported it before as a movie file, what will i gain by converting now? Will it simply look better in ways I don’t realize?

When I went to conform, it gave me options to choose from. Are you saying I should not just choose 23.98? Manually entering 23.976 will lead to a better result?

More the second. I guess what you’re getting at, and what I don’t know, is that to really do an A+ job, no-one is going to be making corrections in FCP 7. They’ll be using something else so I’ll have this problem. Am i right in thinking that is the subtext?

For some odd reason, this has stopped working for me. I didn’t change preferences or anything. Any thoughts? Nothing happens. I get a little symbol when I hit Cntrl, a symbol next to the cursor. but Cntrl V does nothing. So weird. And a shame cause I use this tool often!
