the project panels coulmn order is stored in the workspaces. So sort your columns and then save a new workspace.

Have a look at the Audio tab. There you can change behavior for 5.1.

November 11, 2013 at 8:00 am in reply to: Disastrous problem: Premiere destroyed the audio timeline.Hi Michele,
This often happens when media cache files or media cache database files become too many. So I would delete the media cache and try again.

November 7, 2013 at 7:17 pm in reply to: Trouble importing Sony MXF into Premiere CS5.5/6hmmm okay…
what codec is inside the mxf files? I suggest it is xdcam ex or xdcam hd or xd cam hd422.
ppro should accept all of these codecs.
so i guess that something is bad on your install of ppro cc. Also your footage could be damaged.
sorry, but for the moment i have no other answer.Nils Welter

November 7, 2013 at 6:14 pm in reply to: Problems with Premiere Pro CC preview video and Boris Continuum Complete 8sounds like an incompatibility between bcc8 and ppro cc. But i dont use bcc8, so cannot check this. With plugins from other vendors i dont have any problems.
is here anyone else using bcc8 and encountering this issue?Nils Welter

yes, the ultra key is a great keyer working fine on most gren screen footage. And the big advantage is that the ultra key inside ppro is gpu accelerated. That means no rendering with an actual graphics card. If you key the footage in ae you will have to render.

November 7, 2013 at 6:02 pm in reply to: Trouble importing Sony MXF into Premiere CS5.5/6my first thought is to be sure to keep the whole folder structure of the disc or cards.
did you try then to import your media via media browser?Nils Welter

November 3, 2013 at 9:29 pm in reply to: Cannot restore offline media in Premiere Pro (dynamic link with After Effects)Hi Mayeta,
what exactly is offline? The AE-Comp itself or the media inside the AE-Comp? If the media inside the AE-Comp is is offline, you have to go to After Effects and relink the footage there.
Hope that helps.

July 23, 2013 at 6:20 pm in reply to: Exporting a project in a way it keeps only the video and elements used in the sequenceyes. Go to project -> project manager. There there you can select included sequences for the new project and some other thinngs (copy all original media used or copy trimmed media with handle length). It is very simple and self explaining.
