February 22, 2015 at 9:38 pm in reply to: MBP: Internal Flash Drive vs. external SSD drive for media and cache and preview files. You should locate the cache to the internal ssd. It’s faster than usb3 or thunderbolt. The preview files are only media, rendered to a specific codec. So this should work fine on an external drive.

I believe you cannot do This. Transitions between two Clips are always centered by default. Would be a good Feature request.

It’s a bug. Go to The window menu – workspace and uncheck “Import workspace from projects”. This Works for me

You should not see This in a public release of ppro.
It is a developer tool in The Hidden console.
Hit cmd-f12 for The hidden console and choose debug datatrace view in The Panel menu. Then look for “dog ears” and set it to false. You should not change any other things. That can make ppro unusable. Hope that helps.Nils Welter

December 15, 2014 at 6:23 pm in reply to: Slow response Premiere when building (longer) sequence. You Can shut off “show out of sync indicators for unlinked clips” in preferences. And shut off “show duplicate frame markers” in The timeline wrench menu.
This should Speed things up when Working with long Timelines with many clips inside.Nils Welter

September 18, 2014 at 5:11 pm in reply to: Lag and sluggishness with complex timelines in Premiere CCTry to deactivate “show duplicate frame markers” in the timeline wrench Menu.
You Can also try to deactivate “display out of sync indicators for unlinked clips” in General tab of The precerences.
This helped us a LOT when working on longer Timelines.Nils Welter

did you use the command “render effects in to out” or “render in to out”? Please notice that “render effects in to out” only renders the red parts of a sequence, not the yellow parts.
and have you tried to reset prefs (shift+cmd while launching app)?Nils Welter

it’s a duplicate frame maker. You have used this portion of the clip more than once in your sequence. You can disable duplicate frame markers in the timeline wrench menu.
