Workspace messed up at startup
Frank Feijen
February 11, 2015 at 1:52 pmWhenever I open Premiere, my workspace is completely messed up…

Resetting the workspace works, but in the timeline of every sequence the video is scrolled up, so that I only see the audiotracks.
Opening another project once premiere is opened: no problem.
I’ve deleted the prefs: no improvement.Any clues?

February 11, 2015 at 7:21 pmIt’s a bug. Go to The window menu – workspace and uncheck “Import workspace from projects”. This Works for me

February 27, 2015 at 12:20 pmLet me know if it helps. If not we should file a bug report at Adobe.

April 29, 2015 at 5:21 pmSorry, did’nt find a solution. Even a reinstall of premiere doesnt help. And I’m not really looking forward to reinstalling windows…
Guess I’m hoping that the upcoming update might fix something.

July 29, 2015 at 2:24 pmHello there. I am having an issue that I could use some help on. I have CS6 and working on a macbook pro. When I load my premiere pro project, after the
splash page is finished, the loading page is to the left and half off screen,
then after it gets done loading, my workspace is no where to be found. I still
have the menu bar up top and if I push the space bar, I can hear the video but
cant find the workspace. I have tried multiple things as far as resetting the
workspace, hooking up a ext monitor but nothing seems to work. Have you ran
across this at all? any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.
