    I don’t think it’s possible to shoot 24p and 1080i. The P and the I don’t play well together.

Hi. Thanks for the input. I haven’t gotten to the point of thinking about monitoring yet. Since the shoot is just an interview I may trying relying on my Apple 23″ cine.

Glad to hear the G4 should handle it. I also have MacBook Pro (2.3) so that might be the way to go.

Thanks – interesting read. I agree with Walter, unless this is some bait and switch scheme, it’s a bad move for Apple. Can we place a large sign in the location where the Apple booth would have been that directs people to the M100 booth?

Hi Floh. Thanks – I was afraid that might be the answer. I’ll give it a couple of hours and see if I get a hot tip. If not, I’ll just scale it in RED.

[Floh] “Maybe you should consider upgrading to e.g. a new Media 100 SDe system sometimes, though.”

No doubt about that. A new HD system is definitely in the plans during the next couple of months.

Thanks, Floh. Unfortunately, I do not have the capability to get SDI into the M100. However, I do have a Panasonic BT-LH900AP monitor https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/428936-REG/Panasonic_BT_LH900APJ_Panasonic_BTLH900A_8_4_LCD.html
Perhaps I go SDI into the monitor and either analog component or composite out? Not sure if the monitor will do this for me or not.

Floh, once again, you nailed it. Thanks! If you’re not on the M100 payroll you should be.

Hi Kieran. Thanks for the thought. I just checked the permissions and they are OK. Surprisingly, when I opened the program in a different project it worked fine. Wish I had an intelligent explanation for that – but I’ll take it and move on.
