Who would have thought? The NAB “no-show” by Avid and Apple has tongues wagging and long time editors re-thinking their booth visits – including Walter Biscardi

So where does that leave us? Adobe, Autodesk, and Media 100/Boris FX are the three names that I recognize on the exhibit floor list and I am definitely going to check out all of them. They are taking the time and money to show up and I feel it’s only right to see what they have to offer. I’ve always spent so much time at the Apple booth each year, I guess this will give me the opportunity to see what I’ve been missing.

Media 100 was my tool of choice until 2001 when I switched to FCP and I know they have lost a lot of market share, but it’s time to re-visit them

Great news. How about a link to the original thread?

Thanks – interesting read. I agree with Walter, unless this is some bait and switch scheme, it’s a bad move for Apple. Can we place a large sign in the location where the Apple booth would have been that directs people to the M100 booth?
