Is there a way in X, how you could click on DV anamorphic footage like on the browser of 7, you when you bring it n the TL it stretches it out the right way?

Select the clips in the Event Browser and in the INFO tab in the Inspector, set the Anamorphic Override to Widescreen. This option is in the SETTINGS view

It’s not a gap clip, you have expanded the audio/video. Double clip the audio segment to collapse back to original state.

As far as I can tell the Cmd + Shift shortcut only works when resizing clip thumbnails
in the event browser whilst in Filmstip view. I’m using the ‘minimise’ with Roles
in the timeline index to adjust track heights in the timeline. Not perfect but it definitely helps!

Its a blue ‘wash’ over the green audio clips. Last time it occurred, I did a screen grab which
    I will post up ASAP

Yeah, I’ve had that a few times but I can’t work out what causes it.
Generally happens if I put a transition on two audio tracks.
Maybe it relates to clips that have been adjusted on a subframe basis???

I have found the solution. Working in 8 bit, my video processing
was selected to be ‘Render in 8 bit YUV’ which seems sensible.

The problem with the freeze frames disappears when I select
‘Render all YUV material in high precision YUV’

    Thanks.

Doesn’t explain why I have no problems with freezes using the Decklink card though.
    Any theories??
