    OK got it.

“We want to do for color grading what we’ve done for editing. We’re introducing a new application today: Color. Real time application color grading.”

Is what they said. So they’re going to bundle a full colour grading product and bundle it with Final Cut Studio at no extra charge.

    Apple Color.

Wish they’d have a rest-of-the-world edition spelt correctly

Try going back to the 5.9.2 driver and see if that fixes it.

March 4, 2007 at 6:02 am in reply to: Time code shocker!!

Its almost definitely free run with TC set to time so it looks like its Time of Day. Sound recordists do that a lot with sound tapes in film shoots. Very annoying!

March 4, 2007 at 5:56 am in reply to: Extra frames appearing on edit to tape.

Chances are your setup is inserting at the right part on tape, but repeating the very first frame for 2 frames and then proceeding. If that first frame is something unmoving, then you may not notice.

Check at some intermediate spot to see if the timeline timecode and tape timecode is off by 2 frames.

March 2, 2007 at 4:38 pm in reply to: Relink Qts run through compressor

There is a way within Compressor to make it not append anything to the file name. Or you can make a droplet and set it to not name the files that way.

Else, if you’ve already done it, you can get R-name and rename these files using find and replace or renumber it, or append something before or after the name. Its free.
