Okay, when I go under render settings I pick Tiff and I picked PSD , turned off alpha and it saves it no matter what with the extension aec. After efx wont even recognize it even when I manually change the extension to tiff or psd it saves it as a aec. frustrated.

Hey thanx man those helped alot. and while I’m at it if you dont mind.
I must be over looking something or just a dimwit but i have the drop of water falling but when it gets to a certain point i want it to disappear behind a mask but the mask doesnt stay still , if the the water drop layers position goes from the top of the screen to the bottom the mask on that layer moves with it how do I stabalize the mask? thanx so much. -
what I did was made a black box in another layer and made it a track matte. Thanks for the response,

Thanks everyone…I figured out a way of doin what I needed without spending more money on plugins. Thanks for the input. 2 layers of the logo,Scatterize,Twist and a Fast blur.
