tear drop
I’am new to AE and am needing to make a good looking tear drop fall and splash on the floor. The drop needs to fall like you are almost level with the ground and the drop falls in front of you. Anyone know of good tuts for this. Really appreciate it.

Hey thanx man those helped alot. and while I’m at it if you dont mind.
I must be over looking something or just a dimwit but i have the drop of water falling but when it gets to a certain point i want it to disappear behind a mask but the mask doesnt stay still , if the the water drop layers position goes from the top of the screen to the bottom the mask on that layer moves with it how do I stabalize the mask? thanx so much.
