Play it safe and render. could be any number of reasons, but most likely you are simply using too many expanded feathered masks applied on already masked stuff and AE cannot create all the buffers for them (it cannot dilate the pixels outward). You might try to effectively scale the mask to the required size rather than working with the mask expansion property.

No,no and no. ;o) Thes properties are stored in the source text keyframes and are not accesible with expressions nor with scripts. Sorry, good old handycraft is required here.

Do you mean AE’s internal Stroke effect or a stroke from Illustrator on the vector graphic? in the first case you could add some expression that remaps the radius according to the distance of the camera to the layer. In the second case you may consider converting the contours to fileld paths in Illustrator (extract/split contours).

I don’t really understand what you are trying to do and where you are having difficulties, but be sure to have the center of the effect in the center of your magnifying glas. Rotation doesn’t matter to the Bulge effect, so it would be logical to go that route.

That’s what matte modes are for. Set it to Alpha and stack the two layers on top of each other.

There are a few “flood fill” tools out there like AE’s own eyedropper fill, but in particular the blending near the edges leaves a lot to be desired. You might get better results using specialised toon programs like Toonboom Studio.

You can’t. Menus are the container for the audio and video streams, not the other way around. If you want the full audio, your loop has to match the full length.
