June 15, 2011 at 9:14 am in reply to: “Next” Button Won’t Work?

    Hi Jason ,

Multipage chapter Index is for blu ray projects , this will create multiple pages to single menu , This will not work for dvd in encore .

You need to use ” Chapter Index” for DVD project , this will create submenus .

Reply if this works for you.

    Thanks

November 8, 2010 at 1:29 pm in reply to: Copy protect DVDs from Encore?

    Hi Nina

copy protection can be applied to DLT(DVD master) or DDP image(output format added in CS5) , which can be sent for replication and your replicated DVDs will have copy protection .

    Thanks

October 18, 2010 at 7:00 am in reply to: Simple DVD burn question

    Hi Rick ,

You have mentioned : “In Encore CS5, in the build tab I can not choose that file” what does this mean?

Simple steps to burn your files in DVD are :

    1. Import your files in project.
    2. Create single or multiple timelines( Depending upon your requirement)
    3. Import menu ( from library or your own), if you want menu should be a part of DVD.
    4. Set first play to any timeline or menu.
    5. Do linking to menu ( if you want)
    6. Preview from File menu and check all things work as expected.
    7. Go to Build Panel.
    8. Select Format as DVD and Output as DVD Disc .
    9. Check Recorder (Burner) availability, some Burner should be connected and visible.
    10. Insert Disc in Burner .
    11 Click on Build Panel.
    12. Building will start, after build is successful , check disc on DVD player.

I hope these steps will help you.

    Thanks

October 18, 2010 at 6:45 am in reply to: Encore doesn’t recognize DLT drive

    Hi Bill ,

It seems that you are on PC ( Vista or win 7) . If your tape gets recognized in Device manager and not in Encore . Right click on Encore icon and Launch Encore as Administrator. Encore will recognize DLT .

Encore CS5 has a new feature called DDP image , from which you can directly burn DDP images with copy protection and send it for replication, no need for DLT.

I hope your issue will be resolved.

    Thanks
    Minu
