Hi ,

Encore can import still files upto 15 megapixels. For above it shows “decoders not available”.

If you encounter such error , use less megapixel stills.

I think Adobe team will be working on this in future releases.

This is possible in Encore , but you need to export the project in Flash( one of the output format supported in encore).

Steps to do:

1.Click on menu button .
2. from properties panel , check Enable weblink for flash.
3. Type URL.
4. save the project.
5. Export to Flash from Build panel.

When menu button will be clicked , site with set URL will be launched.

Hi ,

Play the disc on software players like vlc and power DVD on computer monitor and check all links and navigation, if all fine then this will confirm that it is a DVD player issue.

Hi Eric ,

You can upgrade to CS5. In CS5 Encore can output project to DDP image with copy protection settings , which can be used for replication.DDP images are accepted by all replicaters.

Its a great feature as you donot need any hardware like DLT now for replication .

Hi Tim ,

Can you update your nvidia graphics card drivers? There were some issues discussed on adobe forum with old nvidia graphics card drivers which seems to go away after updating to the latest drivers

Hi John ,

Are you using leopard OS on Mac , and menu used are 16:9 ?.

There was a issue specific to leopard in CS3:
When Encore project is created on Leopard, Button highlights do not show on 16:9 menu buttons when played on set top box.

This issue was Mac leopard specific in CS3, for 16:9 menus highlights were not visible in 4:3 monitor, they work fine on 16:9 monitor.

The disc does show problem when playing on 4×3 monitor. Has no problem to play on HD monitor or software players. The problem was the sub picture weren’t generated for letter box case.

This issue is fixed for CS4.

You can try on 16:9 monitor. Please respond if your issue is resolved.

You are facing this issue because you have unchecked “Hold forever” option in Menu Motion properties and set the duration to 3 sec. Thats why in preview menu is shown for just 3 seconds.

Check the “Hold forever” and you will not see this issue.
