If PAL , check whether your BD player can playback PAL .

Are you importing multipage menus from encore library?

In encore multipage menus , default Menu is called(page0).

Blank menu page hints that there is no background . Is this happening for all multipage menu or a specific one.

You can set chapter point end action to menu . After playing complete chapter it will return to menu.

Hi Mark ,

There are two workarounds to solve your problem of text subtitle location :

1. You can shift your subtitles down in encore by selecting the selection tool .

OR

2. After you have build to flash you can open XXX _subtitle.xml and edit clip position(X,Y clip height , width)

You can customize Text subtitles from Theme.xml file. Theme.xml file is placed with output folder .

Hi Brent ,

You can do the following :

1. Go to File>Edit Quality Presets ..
2. Make changes in settings and save preset with a name.
3. Click ok.
4. Now from project panel , select asset right click and choose Transcode settings.
5. From DVD Transcoding dropdown choose the preset you created.
6. Click ok.
7. Do the same for all assets( if you have more)
8. Now go to build and check disc info. If it says the data is less than 4.7GB , it will fit in single layer.

Hi Chris ,

You can do this using Premiere pro .

Steps :

1. Import all stills in Premiere .
2. Create a sequence .
3. Now from effects panel make the transition you want to put as default transition.
4. Now select all the stills and from Project > Automate to sequence.
5.Now choose sequence and Export as Mpeg-DVD.
6. Import the exported files in encore and burn DVD

Hi William ,

If you want to replicate the discs , Create a DDP image instead of DVD disc .

DDP image and DLT are used as masters to replicate the discs. DDP image feature is available from CS5 , if you are on CS4 you can use DLT but that requires extra hardware.

Replication from DVD disc is not recommended .
