How i can save my Logo as 8 bit or 256 colors BMP from Photoshop??

I used Smart Blur filter then the Unsharp Mask as u said but still its not that effective ? Still the blurred areas are there.
Any other way around here?

Ok curtis the first one is clear abt. links means i can specify any web site link whether it is govt site, or a company site or a forum site like cow righ !
But what abt. the docs which i get on other sites for e.g realnetworks has a set of pdf for the users so can i use that pdf links in my site. On that pdf at the bottom real network has their logo so still its illegal.. (or any PDF file which i want to incorporate in my site has the concern persons/companys logo at the bottom).
