Hello everybody,
Please dont get confused with subject of my post. This post is realted to giving external links on your web page. I will explain.
I am planning to design my site and add various web site URLs to my various link pages under diff. categories like Tutorials in which Photoshop tutorials sites, DW turotial sites then for second category say Good Forums : then urls like COW, teamphotoshp and so on. So does this helps to increase the traffic or ranking on search engines ?
Also adding a download section like web banners, templates, background, and some cooolll wallpaers will it help for ranking and optimization ?

you linking to other people doesn’t really help your ranking at all, unfortunately – some engines use algorithms to factor in how many people link to you, which typically indicates that people find your site to be useful…
so if you used that area to link swap with people then ya – it could help you. but on it’s own, it won’t increase (or decrease for that matter) your ranking at all…

All about HTML Standards ( and for this text link to W3C website) will be helpful ?–thnx..

If you can get the W3C to link to you, it will help. But that just ain’t gonna happen. Linking to them is pointless.

Just reiterating what Curtis said. Read his post again. It didn’t sound like you understood. Linking to other websites will never ever ever improve your ranking. It will improve their ranking. Clear enough?
