In macpro I use Mac GTX 285 – it doesn’t need any injectors, I wouldn’t put anything else inside mac because GTX 480 consumes to much power to have it in MacPro. For hackintosh it’s OK – You can put bigger power suuply inside.
About 30 files in one part. Only two parts left from eight. And part 7 has all that stuff. I’ve tried to open files at clipfinder – look at both edgecode and timecode start points and calculate difference between them using timecode calc. Then open EDL in texteditor and add timecode difference calculated to the corresponding strings. It soooo timeconsuming! And due to human input error risk is very high.
I’was told that those cards are usable in mac pro only after some system tweaking using “injector” like in hackintosh. That way you create very expensive hackintosh without extra PCI slots you could have with cheap gigabyte motherboard.
Straight from Decklink Extreme 3D from HDMI out to Panasonic DVI input – works great (from 1080 23,98 to 60, so 720, but I lose the ability to load 3D LUTs which HDLink Pro has.
The same plasma connected to the HDMI output of Extreme 3D without HDlink works as intended – showing the picture in ALL the videomodes chosen at Davinci project tab. So it’s strictly HDlink issue which sends wrong signal to plasma. So I would like to know how to fix it.
The cheapest decklink will work as well. I had Decklink HD PRO before I’ve bought 3D+ and it worked with no problems (without stereo functionality of course).
