It can be that red 2k is 2048×1152. And when you go 1080p – you don’t have to zoom

    1. Install gtx 470
    2. Install lion, cuda 4.0.50 and latest decklink drivers – mine works great
    3. If 1 or 2 is not applicable – try to convert your old time dpx to prores 444 ( you can experiment with just one shot)

from my humble experience it happens in case of red qt previews points to nonexistent or truncated R3D file. it happened with me when I copied tons of footage using terminal command cp, with no checking instead of finder drag and drop.

what I did is dragged and dropped the whole folder with red footage to clipfinder and quickly arrow down all clips. those which didn’t show picture and start showing color wheel are bad – restore them from source disks.

It needs too much power, extra power modification will take place. Do not worth it if put inside mac pro.
    Inside CUBIX – yes.

I’d buy one gtx470 from ebay instead. The same result.

You should ALWAYS keep R3d files in their RDC folders. Otherwise you’ll get unpredictable results.

Try to Insert the USB keyboard plug into the USB slot on the MacPro, not in the Apple Cinema Display or any other kind of USB hub.
