In comparison with Luts supplied with Lustre those from resolve look bad. I also couldn’t find simple loglin or linlog functions.

Never denoise or sharpen or VFX before grading. It kills color range. I always grade the shots for VFX guys first or ask them to wait for final version to render VFX shots. Also, often, denoise filters produce banding which will prevent You from grading the shot right way

Does it needs buying kind of license from RED? How did Adobe make their Mercury engine which uses cuda for red debayer?

Thanks a lot – thats great. I’ve set up combinations of arrows up and down with F keys (on WAVE panel) to save and load from memory – I used G13 for that before – and now it’s not necessary anymore!! Works perfect, arrowup+F1 saves still to memory – arrowdown+F1 loads it from memory.

The Easy way for me
1. Ask vfx guys to render files with same name and same length.
2. Put the files into folders named by date of production and iteration number.
3. At resolve select VFX at browser and change parent directory. -
Would You please also pm the “howto db on mac” to me. I would like to try moving the db to separate machine.

For me virtual trackballs are useless and even bad – I’ve noticed that as I used virtual trackballs I stare at the distance between point and center more than at picture itself and can not properly control the effect

There is a simple decision. Do not buy iPhone. Buy used wave instead. Do not buy Mac pro – build hackintosh for half the price of Mac pro. Do not buy Davinci at local reseller – buy it from b&h and get it by post in a month but for normal price. And stop crying, the are many places on earth which you would call hell being put there.
