Controllermate and WAVE
Does anybody who uses Controllermate mapping software noticed that it affects the speed of dials interactivity? It could be just my own subjective feeling but it seems that controllermate adds noticable lag to the dials reaction.
If You have or have no lag – please let me know your config and which usb port used for Wave.

I haven’t noticed any noticeable lag. I’m using the 2nd USB plug in the back of the Mac Pro. When testing, I do notice stange behavior when I’ve remapped the same key a lot of times. A restart fixes the problem. You can add delays manually in controller mate. I’d just be sure you haven’t added one of those in by mistake.

Thanks a lot – thats great. I’ve set up combinations of arrows up and down with F keys (on WAVE panel) to save and load from memory – I used G13 for that before – and now it’s not necessary anymore!! Works perfect, arrowup+F1 saves still to memory – arrowdown+F1 loads it from memory.

Very cool. Mapping the mems to the F keys makes a ton of sense to me. ControllerMate is a pretty deep program. I’m planning on making more tutorials to walk through some of the finer details.

That’s an interesting idea – does it ever become an annoyance that every time you perform one of those shortcuts, the page changes because you pressed the up or down key?

What would be amazing is to combine that little keypad thing with controller mate in a way we can map slider and dials to the iPad.
With th g13 I have an excellent tactile eperience and all buttons covered.
But as you say, combining slider or dials on one page, wave or iPad would be really nice.
I always always use Saturation, PostMixGain and low , high soft at the same time.
Those would be the ones I would like to see on one page, one great shiny day.A slice of color…
