Probably not. You need something like a Newtek Tricaster system to mix several sources and apply effects like PIPs on the fly.

I use this feature often and it works well, even with loud natural sounds in the original audio.
To avoid feedback one should mute speaker and listen with headphones. Beyond that the are some settings in Preferences>Audio Hardware that may affect things.
I use a $15 Soundblaster sound card. -
You need to export (Adobe Media Encoder) each sequence as Mpeg 2 DVD format from Premiere to a folder. Then import all into your Encore project and create a new timeline for each file.

Can you see a preview in the Program window before the files are rendered? What is the source of your video?

My first suspicion is a 3rd party plug-in issue. Try moving any 3rd party plugins or plug-in folders to another location temporarily.

It is a known issue with Acrobat Reader 9. Version 8 and possible 7 work fine.

Double click the sequence icon in the Project Window.

Try a test render using Movie Maker or any product you have that renders. If it still reboots, look into CPU cooling problems.
