    Hi,
I was looking for an HD codec recently and thus I’ve been told about the Cineform family. (Thanks Tim) It is really good – small, fast, HD, AVI, good value for the money, everything I’ve wanted. Except:
The trial what I’ve downloaded drops the stability of AE and Premiere back to a disastrous level. AE crashes 80% the time I start it before even the splash screen appears. Both applications far more likely to crash anytime. When the codec is uninstalled I get my stability back in both apps.
Before I buy the product I’d like to know if anyone could tell me:
Is this a problem only with a trial ?
If not, is there a solution to get around it ?
If not, are there any similar products out there ?
    I’m grateful for any help/answer/suggestion.
    Sam
