What kind (codec) of file are you trying to create? Some codecs have a 2 or 4 GB file size limits regardless of the file system..

Capturing is simply transfering data from the tape to PC…any dek should work.

There is probably a camera menu setting like A/DV that will allow pass thru of your VCR signal. Camera may need to be in the Record mode as well.

No Real Media. Windows Media and QT work fine. You can convert RM to .avi using an app from Boilsoft.com.

Pro 2.0 can do direct to DVD with almost complete control over menus/sub menus/chapters, etc..

Unfortunatly the sky, both shirts and one forhead have RGB values of 255,255,255 and no adjustment will bring out any details. A small levels adjustment will improve the jackets and some greenery.

“Uncompressed Microsoft AVI” and PAR of .9 for 720 x 480. 8 bit if your source was DV, 10 bit if your source was exported from an app like After Effects or 3D Max.

Your .avi from Premiere should be full resolution for best results in Flash. The file will be huge! Flash will create a new .swf or .flv file 320 x 240 and any size (bitrate) you need. The large uncompressed clip will no longer be needed then.
.m2p files are Mpeg 2. Converting them back to .avi and then converting them again will cause poorer results, but Premiere Elements can do it, so can Procoder. -
Craig’s suggestion does not work. I am with Steve…how did you get all those gaps? Premiere has tools and commands that permit editing in the timeline while rippling the changes at the same time. The Extract command (‘) will remove frames from the timeline and ripple the delete. Use the i and o keys to set in and out points in the timeline and target the right track, then hit the ‘ key.

Is it just the capture window that is not displaying or are you not able to capture video?
If it is just the display, have you tried changing Desktop Display Modes?
Update video card drivers.
