No image on DV capture HELP!
Hi,
I’m not able to get an image when capturing DV from a Sony DSR 11 into Premiere Pro (1.5).
The DSR 11 is connected via firewire. I’ve confirmed that the firewire card is working, that the firewire cable is
working. I’ve also confirmed that DSR 11 is sending an image over the firewire (by playing it on my camera).I’ve been over the video and capture setting, but can’t find anything that isn’t set correctly.
Any ideas?

Does the computer detect the device?

Yes, the computer detects the device. Also, Premiere Pro sees the device. It knows if it is on or off line and the

Is it just the capture window that is not displaying or are you not able to capture video?
If it is just the display, have you tried changing Desktop Display Modes?
Update video card drivers. -
I am currently having this same problem. How did you resolve it?
