For video destined for TV, there is not way to do a good job of editing without an external monitor. There are other issues besides colors and gamma that can only be seen on a TV. Even a cheap 13″ works better than nothing.

You probably rendered uncompressed video/audio from AE. Most systems cannot play both smoothly for a preview…just too much throughput.
Zero DB is the loudest sound without awful distortion in the final output, even worse on TV. Keep your master output below zero.

1. Dolby audio will play from the Source window, but not the timeline.
2. Have you been mucking with the audio mixer or “Show Track Volume” ? -
Encore can accomodate several audio tracks for one video track. The viewer can use their remote to select which audio track to hear but it is best to give them a menu option.

The Demo version wont burn DVDs.

Most hard drives cannot read uncompressed video fast enough to play smooth all the time.

Not sure, but experience the same issue on 14 Dell PC’s 3.4 Dual Xeon, 4 GB, 1 TB new units. Wont export to DVD. Export to folders just fine although CPU usage was about 25% during encoding.
Premiere Elements wont either, but Encore 2 works fine.
Suspect it is a Adobe/Dual Processor issue. -
A DVD with one large file on it is a recipe for disaster. If one bit cannot be read back, the file is gone and wont copy/paste!

The + and – keys (not on the num pad) can be used to zoom in and out, displaying your 2 minutes across the entire sequence.

It might easier if the paths to your assets are the same on both PCs. Otherwise you will have to relink Premiere to your assets each time.
