When I add dynamics to the cloner and say “on collision,” it stops the object from falling because the dynamics don’t start right away.

I’m able to achieve the desired results by key framing, but there must be a way to do it all with dynamics.

Thanks Brian, that worked pretty well.

    It’s true,

I just downloaded CS5 trial and things are running very smooth.

Literally 100X faster than CS4 with this large PSD.

That was a pretty intense post, but I found the response that seems to work.

Using the channel combiner, but because I’m using a white solid instead of black, set “FROM” to MIN RGB and “TO” to Alpha. Then Invert.

    Thanks for the link,

No, it’s a graphic that needs to be able to be used in an editor.

    Can this even be done?

Any “apple codec” is going to give a PC problems.

    No?

  • One thing to think about,

Was your actual video shot on tape? Camera’s like the Panasonic DVX100 or HVX200 automatically insert pulldowns that make your actual video footage 29.97, even when shooting at 24P.

If you are using 24PN this is a different story.

You can try converting the footage with the wrong frame rates, and then replacing them in the timeline.

Mixing frame rates can make for a real headache.

You should be able to distort this back to 16:9 without any resolution loss, granted you don’t change the actual dimensions of the video.

What are your item properties of the video?

Looks like we found a bug in Canon’s plugin.

At least we know how to avoid it.
