If you haven’t already done so, open Pan/Crop, right click and select “Match Output Aspect”, set it to the desired starting size and only then begin panning and/or zooming your image.

You need to run the “Add Media to all Timecode” script first to get Vegas to see your source timecode.
Note: this will add the timecode display to all your media but it will be source timecode and can be removed later by running the “Remove Timecode from all Media” script. -
Greg, if you can, please post two simultaneous images from the different cameras and we’ll see what we can do for you as far as colour correcting to match shots is concerned.

What is the policy for installing and registering a Sony Creative Software program on multiple computers?
According the Sony Creative Software End User License Agreement, there is no restriction for installing or re-installing the software on multiple computers. Many users need to have the software installed on more than one computer (i.e., a home PC, a work PC, and a portable laptop) for the convenience of being able to work on projects at different locations. Our EULA allows for this type of use and only the purchase of a single license is required to do so.
If multiple, simultaneous use is needed, then according to the EULA purchase of multiple licenses will be required (i.e., a classroom or a business with multiple people using the same program at one time).

John, I installed the codec that Tim suggested and it appears to work for creating a ProRes file. What I don’t know is if it’s a “real” ProRes file. If you or someone who has a Mac is willing to try it out to confirm, that would be greatly appreciated as this may finally solve a long time stumbling block for PC users wanting to create ProRes files. Thanks.

You might want to try an older version. I have QuickTime player 7.6.8 installed on my home and work machines and can import and play ProRes 422HQ files with no problems at all.

Use the MainConcept Internet 1920×1080-30p preset and customize it for interlaced as shown below. I’ve done this for clients in the past and no one has ever complained.
