…Debugmode Wax that runs on Vegas 6?

On his forum on June 11, Satish said
“within a week, i promise. some last minute bugs came out and looking for a workaround for them.”

Is there a way to use all of the stuff it just took an hour to render before..

From Liam Kennedy’s reply 2 posts down titled “Re: Render to avi before print to tape?”
    (some snipping for brevity)

Render the project. Having this seperate rendered AVI will allow you to have more flexibility to fix any little things that you need to work on. Load that AVI back into the original project on tracks above the existing tracks. Mute the audio track (or delete it) as the audio will still be there from the tracks below.

Now – if you notice you had a typo on some text – or that you need to modify the timings/duration of a transition you can do that now by “slicing” away the small sections of your rendered AVI to expose the underlying original media/events. Now make your changes.

This is one of the main reasons why I don’t use DVDA to do a burn. Instead, I “prepare” the files and use RecordNow Max to do the actual burning.
Do you have another app (Nero?) that you can try?
Does your burner only support -R blanks and you accidentally used a +R?
If all else fails, try a re-install of DVDA.

When you select the “Render As” option, is the “Render loop region only” disabled?

Is the “Show Properties” button (top left – under the word Preset) turned off? This would result in seeing the workspace only.

  • B&H has the JVC TMH-150CGU for $610. I bought 4 of them last fall for student edit suites (along with a JVC 9″ field monitor) and am quite happy with them. Check it out.

hi mike, hope you’re reading this in warmth and comfort – bloody freezing down here…

Thanks Leslie. I am – and all I can say is “too bad, so sad :-)”
It’s about 25 C. right now (76 F. for non-metrics) and sunny – finally. Until this week, spring has been quite wet & cool.

    Anyway, on to your question.
I’ve never done a project like you’re describing but I did have a couple of thoughts.
Didn’t you get a copy of Veggie Toolkit?. Seems to me that it had a tool or two that would help.
The other software I came across mention of on another forum is called
StoryLoom and it looks promising. Check it out.
    Good luck with your project.

I’m not positive but I think you need to get into frameserving.
Satish has one on his site at https://www.debugmode.com/frameserver/ along with instructions and a user forum.

Mike Crash has two filters (Dynamic Noise Reduction & Smart Smoother) on his page at https://mikecrash.wz.cz/ that might be of some help.
