I’m trying to render a clip and it will only render 1 second. Because above the time line there’s a blue arrow with a line that has to do with a loop because i can drag in open to select more of the clip….My question is how do i get rid of the blue arrow so i can render the whole clip? Thanks for you help.

When you select the “Render As” option, is the “Render loop region only” disabled?

I will also add to my question….I’m rendering in 3 parts to my project, using video for windows (avi), NTSC DV for the template and audio 48,000Hz, 16 Bit,Stero PCM uncompressed. with the only checked boxes Render loop region only (which I want to know how to remove) and Save project markers in media file…
After my whole project is completed i will connect the 3 parts together and Render as MPEG 2 without audio and then render again with ac3 audio…My question is this process the correct way of going about connecting clips together? Also how do i uncheck the greyed out RENDER LOOP REGION ONLY……..Thanks so much…..

If that box is grayed out then you don’t have a loop region specified. Make a loop region on the timeline and that box will be available. Since you don’t have a loop region, that can’t be the problem. Can you tell us more?

Edward, what i ended up deciding to try was loop the whole clip to render, and when i went to choose to render it the RENDER LOOP ONLY came out of being greyed out so i was able to then uncheck it. thanks for you reply………Gary
